Slide every block home.

Block Lane is a bright sliding block puzzle. Drag each brick through the gate of its own color, clear the jam before the clock runs out, and rebuild a seaside town with the stars you earn.

One rule. A thousand jams.

Every block leaves through the gate of its own color. Drag it there, round corners if you must. These are three real lanes from the game, and they work right here.

Drag each block out through the gate of its own color.

Moves 0 · Par 2

Drag a block with your finger or mouse. On a keyboard, focus a block and use the arrow keys.

Then the lane fights back.

A new idea arrives, gets a calm level to itself, and then joins everything you already know.

  • Arrow blocks

They only slide the way their arrows point. Plan around them.

  • Striped pads

Clear the pad and it drops the next block in the queue. Keep going until it runs dry.

  • Lifts

Tap a lift to carry a block across the gap. Only a block sitting fully on it can ride.

  • The clock

Many levels are a race. Others swap the timer for a strict move limit.

  • Hard levels

Every tenth level from 20 onward is a hard one, and it pays double coins.

Three ways out of trouble.

Boosters are for the moment a plan falls apart. Tap one to see what it does.

750 lanes. A new world every ten.

Questions players ask

What is Block Lane?

Block Lane is a sliding block puzzle game for phones. Each level is a grid full of colored toy blocks, and every block has to leave through the gate of its own color. It is published by MARVO.

How do you play Block Lane?

Drag a block with one finger. It slides along free cells and can turn corners in a single drag. Steer it to the gate that shares its color and it leaves the board. Clear every block to win the level. Fewer moves earn more stars.

Can every level be solved?

Yes. Each of the 750 levels ships with a recorded solution, and automated tests replay every one of them. No level needs a booster to be solved.

Is there a time limit?

Many levels run against a clock. Some levels drop the clock and give you a limited number of moves instead. The Clock booster adds 30 seconds.

What do the boosters do?

There are three boosters. The Clock adds 30 seconds. The Rocket launches one block of your choice off the board. The UFO beams up every block of the color you tap.

What is the town for?

Stars you earn turn into bricks. Bricks raise 20 buildings across four districts: Harbor Square, Market Street, Garden Hill and Festival Pier. The town opens at level 6.
